Quaker Cupboard Food Pantry

Quaker Cupboard Food Pantry

A partnership with Food Gatherers, generous donations, and a grant from the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation, allow us to serve many families in our community and surrounding areas.

We are a “food of choice” pantry, meaning you pick out the foods for you and your loved ones.  To ensure each family receives food, we place limits on the number of items per family unit.

What foods do we offer?

Dairy: Milk, butter, cheese, eggs when available

Fresh produce:  Usually a variety when available

Canned foods:  vegetables, fruit, tomato products, soups.

Dry Goods:  pasta, rice, dried fruit, cake mixes, baking mixes, dried potato products.

Condiments and side dishes:  ketchup, mustard, syrup, Hamburger Helper.

Meat options change from month to month.

Paper Products and soap items when available.

Interested in donating goods? Food donations are welcome during distribution days.

If you would like to volunteer to help with the preparation and/or distribution, please use the “Serve With Quaker Cupboard” button on top of page and let us know your interest.

A student-led organization from Huron High School in Ann Arbor has placed a "Little Free Hygiene Pantry" on our campus to serve our community.

What does this mean?

A pink outdoor wooden box has been placed on the southwest side of the white church on the corner of Tuttle Hill Rd and Bemis Rd.  Inside the box you will find a variety of hygiene products - free for the taking (but please, don't hoard items).  The supplies, provided by the student organization, will vary from time to time and will be refilled periodically by the students as they receive donations from generous donors.

You may find bars of soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, feminine products, shaving items, hairbrushes, etc.  You may stop by anytime.  Please be sure to secure the door with the latch after selecting your items.

A huge thank you to FloFund, for providing this box of needed hygiene supplies for our families in the neighborhood.
